There haven't been any changes to the security model in the Open Source version of Essential and my previous post below describes the current capabilities well. It's just read, read/write and admin at a repository level (not an entity level). There are unlikely to be any significant ...

i've used your base view and changed it a little for us to be able to select on "IT Application Owners" (a different role to org users), also include some other slots like lifecycle and service classification (this is our own enumeration).
