Editor Enumerations

Is there a way to hide enumeration values from an editor? When I uncheck the 'System is Published' the enumeration is no longer shown in views, but it still appears in editors. For example I would like to remove the 'HOSTED' option from the Application Delivery Model enumerations, but I don't necessarily want to delete it from the repository, as an example. There are other enumerations that we aren't ready to use, but might in the future and I was hoping to be able to just hide them vs. delete and recreate at a later time.

the ability to hide instances in editors is not currently supported, however it is certainly something we would like to explore. We will therefore discuss options internally and come back to you with our prferred approach for feedback.
