I have a need to track where our Composite_Application_Providers are hosted and have a list of all data centres. My first thought was to use the Delivery Model field but this is single instance and some of our hosting is complex and spans multiple location. I tried to make this multiple field - that broke many views, so need to find another path.

Current thinking is to create a custom field but before I go down that does anyone have a better way to store this. I am conscious that a custom field will not show in the standard views (as far a is know)

We model this via deployments.

1) Create Technology Nodes (data centres) and associate these with Sites.
2A) In cloud use the application editor, use the technology tab, create a deployment (production) and associate the technology nodes for the deployment
2B) Or you can use Launchpad and the Application to Server sheet.

You could create a new enumeration but if you use multiple enumerations then, at the moment, you'll need to update the views you want the data in.
