Is it possible to insert data coming from sources like DB or similar into the model.
In many cases some data can be found around and it could be usefull to manage to bring it in with some sort of ETL.
We for example have a catalog of products we develop for customers and could mass upload it into the model, but how?
Any idea?

Hi, it is indeed possible.

Please see this posting about the Essential Integration Server, which is in an early but fully functional form. There are some manual steps but it's still worth it. It's XML-based but supports on-going synchronisation with external data sources (I've been using this for over a year, now).

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to explore a particular import/synchronisation that you need to do.
